Royal Australian College of General Practitioners accredited education activities
There are 2 online education screening programs for GPs and other healthcare professionals.
Both programs are accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
Breast, bowel and cervical cancer screening program
National screening programs have reduced illness and deaths from cancer, but increasing screening rates could save more lives.
This program focuses on how you can encourage and support your patients to have bowel, breast and cervical screening.
As a GP or healthcare professional, you have the biggest influence on whether a person decides to screen.
This course addresses the challenges, dispels myths and uncertainties around screening, offer tips to boost screening, and includes resources for your practice.

Breast cancer screening and diagnostic breast imaging
This module is designed to help GPs make clinical decisions about appropriate breast imaging for screening and diagnostic purposes, based on evidence of effectiveness and potential harms. The module is divided into four parts: general information on breast cancer, breast imaging modalities, screening, and diagnosis.
