Rural women and mobile screening

We aim to make it easier for women living in rural areas of Queensland to have breast screens.

We support women living in rural areas of Queensland by bringing breast screening services closer to where you live.

We have 11 mobile breast screening vans that travel to rural areas on a regular basis.

We can also help you access the Queensland Health Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS). The subsidy helps Queensland residents access health care by contributing to the cost of transport and accommodation. This may be an option if you're asked to come back for follow up tests at an Assessment Clinic.

The dates and locations for our mobile screening vans change regularly.
