BreastScreen Queensland is the state program of BreastScreen Australia.
We provide breast screening for women at over 260 sites throughout Queensland with 11 local services:
- North Brisbane
- South Brisbane
- Gold Coast
- Sunshine Coast
- Ipswich
- Mackay
- Rockhampton
- Cairns
- Toowoomba
- Townsville
- Wide Bay.
We also have 11 mobile screening vans, including one 4-wheel drive van, that travel to rural and remote areas to make breast screening accessible for more women.
We’ve performed more than 5 million breast screens since 1991 and detected more than 25,000 breast cancers.
