Queensland Health Multicultural Program activities

The Queensland Health Multicultural Program coordinates and leads the implementation of the Queensland Health's Strategic Plan for Multicultural Health 2007-2012.

The Program develops an annual implementation plan in collaboration with the Queensland Health Multicultural Steering Committee.  Annual implementation reports  are also produced and used as reference in planning activities.  To view the Program's activities, look at the annual actions in the Queensland Health's Strategic Plan for Multicultural Health - 2009-10 Implementation Plan.

 

Health Service District activities

Health Service Districts play a vital role in implementing the Queensland Health Strategic Plan for Multicultural Health 2007-2012.  Implementation reports are available.

Description		The Queensland Multicultural Festival is Queensland’s largest, free, one-day community event. The Festival was developed by the Queensland Government to promote the importance of cultural diversity in the Smart State, and to provide Queenslanders with an annual celebratory event focused on multiculturalism.
